Winter Lights

We just headed out this evening to see the Winter Lights at Canary Wharf and they were spectacular! Our favourite without a doubt was Marcus Lyall’s installation ‘On Your Wavelength‘ which had interactive lights and synthesised music all controlled through your mind via a headset, which made each piece individual. It was incredible and mesmerising to watch – ¬†we’d go back again to see that one piece alone!

We’ve included some shots above of our other favourite installations which included spinning strips of foil that made giant bubble-teardrops (Reflecting Holons) and ephemeral random words being illuminated on a wall of falling water (Bit.Fall).

Honestly, the installations are brilliant and we’d definitely recommend going to see them – and it’s free so you have nothing holding you back! Just wear a warm coat…..brrrrr
